  Probably my favourite pub in the country. Obviously it helps if you love Holdens and Bathams beers, which are all served in excellent condition at good prices/ The epitomy of unspoilt, tucked away in isolation behind the railway and canal. Bright conservatory extension and suntrap small garden. Decent range of pubgrub

  Popped in here with a friend for a drink while waiting for some friends before heading to the train station. Great pub for a semi-quiet drink. Despite being "out of the way", it was bustling with regular (as in regulars) seeming-folk.
  
  The staff were friendly, it had a nice atmosphere and the drinks were reasonable priced. Worth a visit. Definitely worth a visit if you're waiting for a train, better than the station waiting rooms.
